Steven spent his early years growing up in New Jersey. He has a deep love of animals, especially dogs. He has owned an assortment of Shelties throughout his life including his current dog, a rough collie named Prince.

Steven graduated from St. Leo University with a Bachelors degree in Criminology. He later attended law school at Western Michigan University located in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
